Current Opportunities
Children First, Scotland’s national children’s charity, is seeking to appoint a Bairns Hoose Rights, Advocacy and Trauma Recovery Worker in North Aberdeenshire. By joining our team, you will help us stand up for children, keep them safe and support them to recover from trauma and abuse through our national and local services. You will join an experienced and skilled team supporting children, young people, parents and families who have experienced trauma. The service provides a wide range of recovery focussed support for children and families who have witnessed, been impacted by, or experienced abuse – including physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our East Ayrshire Team as part of our Financial Wellbeing advice delivery and supporting our additional services across the charity. Our Financial Wellbeing service works alongside families to address the challenges and risks which may have led to vulnerability, promote connection to their local communities, and improve financial stability and resilience.
A fantastic opportunity to come and join the Children First team in North Ayrshire
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Family Wellbeing Service in North Ayrshire and an innovative partnership between Children First and CORRA Foundation, working alongside families, building strong relationships, taking an approach that is restorative, relational and trauma informed striving to achieving positive outcomes for families. Our project seeks to ensure children, families and communities affected by substance use in North Ayrshire access early help to prevent crisis and to support the whole family to recover from the impact of substance use.
A fantastic opportunity to come and join the Children First team in East Ayrshire
At Children First our ambition is for every child in Scotland to be safe, loved and well with their family. As a charity we offer emotional, practical, and financial support to help families to put children first and campaign to uphold the rights of every child. We have two exciting opportunities to be part of either our innovative Restorative Family Group Decision Making Service, or our East Ayrshire Family Wellbeing Service.
